Levon Aronian has registered yet another victory in Masters Tournament of Tradewise Gibraltar Chess Festival.
The Armenian grandmaster played the white in Round 7 and defeated Nigel Short (England). Aronian scored 5,5 points and moved to the 7th place.
He is only 0,5 point behind the two leaders. Hikaru Nakamura (U.S.) and David Howell (England) scored 6 points each and took the 1-2 places.
Lilit Mkrtchyan has registered 4 points.
