Aronian to face Jakovenko first in FIDE Grand Prix

The first games of the last round of 2017 FIDE World Chess Grand Prix are talking place at Palma de Mallorca today.

Levon Aronian will face Dmitry Jakovenko (Russia). The Armenian grandmaster will play the black.

Winner and runner-up of the Grand Prix will qualify for the Candidates Tournament. Only four players have qualified so far: Levon Aronian, Ding Liren, Sergey Karjakin, and Vladimir Kramnik.
