The European Team Chess Championship will be held from October 27 until November 7 in Crete, Greece.
Head coach of the Armenia men’s team Arshak Petrosyan told Mediamax Sport they are already preparing for the competition in Tsaghkadzor.
This year’s World Cup winner, FIDE 2nd ranked Levon Aronian, as well as Gabriel Sargsyan, Sergey Movsisyan, Hrant Melkumyan and Hovhannes Gabuzyan will represent Armenia in Greece.
The women’s team, headed by Artur Chibukyan, includes Elina Danielyan, Lilit Mkrtchyan, Lilit Galoyan, Maria Kursova and Maria Gevorgyan.
