Levon Aronian leads Stavanger tournament

Norway Chess Tournament in Stavanger held the games of the 6th round.

Levon Aronian, playing the white, defeated Vladimir Kramnik. The Armenian grandmaster played confidently and gained decisive advantage on his 21st move. On the 34th, Kramnik accepted his defeat.

Aronian now has 4 points and leads the tournament table. Hikaru Nakamura currently has the same amount of points but concedes by additional parameters.

Today is a day-off in Stavanger tournament. On June 14, Aronian will play with Sergey Karjakin.
