Levon Aronian played the white against Anish Giri. Other pairings that also shared points were Magnus Carlsen – Hikaru Nakamura, Vladimir Kramnik – Wesley So, Maxime Vacheir-Lagrave – Fabiano Caruana, and Sergey Karjakin – Viswanathan Anand.
Nakamura and Kramnik have 2 points each. Aronian with 1.5 point still shares places 3-8 with other players.
Today is day-off. The tournament will resume with round 4 on June 10.
