Aronian sinks to the 9th rank in FIDE Ratings

World Chess Federation (FIDE) published today the chess players’ ratings for March.

Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian conceded two ranks and now occupies the 9th place with 2774 points.

Other Armenian chess players included in the top 100 are Sergey Movsisyan (the 63th), Vladimir Hakobyan (the 67th) and Gabriel Sargsyan (the 87th).

World champion Magnus Carlsen (Norway) continues to lead the FIDE Ratings with 2838 points.
