Hovhannes Gabuzyan seized another victory in the 7th International Ferdowsi Cup Chess Tournament, this time in the 4th round.
The Armenian grandmaster, playing the white, defeated Logman Guliev (Azerbaijan).
Currently Gabuzyan has 4 points and is among the leaders of the tournament. With additional parameters accounted, he occupies the 4th place, while the 1st is held yet by Milan Pacher (Slovakia).
Another Armenia representative Hrayr Simonyan defeated Arman Shahzamani (Iran) and now has 3.5 points.
