The names of all 10 contestants for the chess super tournament due on June 5-7 in Stavanger have been revealed.
The organizers previously announced Levon Aronian (Armenia), Magnus Carlsen (Norway), Vladimir Kramnik (Russia), Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France), Viswanathan Anand (India), Sergey Karjakin (Russia) and Hikaru Nakamura (USA).
Three more players will join them in the competition: Wesley So (USA), Fabiano Caruana (USA) and Anish Giri (The Netherlands).
These chess players make the top ten in FIDE rating. Their average rate is 2800 points, which is a very strong index.
