On October 20-29, Antalya (Turkey) will host European Youth Boxing Championships.

The Armenia team, headed by coach Derenik Voskanyan, completes the 12-day training camp today in Olympavan. They will travel to Turkey on October 19.

Derenik Voskanyan told Mediamax Sport which athletes will represent Armenia in the championship. They are Erik Tokhyan (49kg), Artur Bazeyan (52kg), Zhirayr Sargsyan (56kg), Armen Mashakaryan (60kg), Benik Nikoghosyan (64kg), Toni Galstyan (69kg), Gor Nersisyan (75kg), Manuk Khachatryan (91kg), and Arman Mnatsakanyan (superweight).

“The boys are in a good mood. We trained in Tsaghkadzor earlier. Of course, we anticipate winning medals, but the tournament will take place in Turkey and that’s never easy for us,” said the coach.
