Six weightlifters, including Tigran Martirosyan, were disqualified and have to return the medals they won at the Olympic Games.
In 2008, Martirosyan won the bronze in the under 69 kg category at Beijing Olympics.
The International Olympic Committee stated on its official website that reanalysis of the Armenian athlete’s samples resulted in a positive test for the prohibited substances stanozolol and turinabol.
