Unique passing technique, fantastic jumps and incredible 3-point throws. This is how fans remember the incompatible Michael Jordan, who has not lost his basketball charm; people still love Jordan even after finishing his career.

He seemed to have wings, which helped him fly over the court, sending the ball right into the rim. Michael Jordan was a master of jumping. Mediamax Sport introduces one of his best dunks in this edition of In One Shot.

Michael Jordan was treated like a god in the United States. He set an example of perfect conduct, and people called their children in his honor. Fans gave him different nicknames for accomplishing unbelievable jumps: Air Jordan, His Airness etc.

Michael Jordan accomplished one of his best dunks in 1988 NBA Dunk Contest in Chicago.

“The problem with shooting the NBA slam-dunk contest was that you never knew how the players were going to dunk, especially Jordan. Once I asked him: “Michael, can you tell me which way you’re going to go, so I can move and get your face in the picture?” He looked at me as if I were crazy but then said, “Sure. Before I go out to dunk I’ll put my index finger on my knee and point which way I’m going.” So later, when they announced his name in 1988, I looked over to him on the bench and there was his finger pointing left,” told renowned Sports Illustrated photographer Walter Iooss Jr., who is among 100 greatest sports photographs of all time.

Of course, Jordan was the winner in that completion of dunks. The young sportsman got advantage over Dominique Wilkins, who dunked better than anyone in the prime of his career back then.
