Levon Aronian (playing white) beat S.P. Sethuraman (India). The Armenian grandmaster has 7 points now and shares the first place with four other players. In the overall count of points, he sits fourth.
The other Armenia representative, Lilit Mkrtchyan also came out a winner in this round, beating Elisabeth Hapala (Austria). Mkrtchyan has earned 5 points so far.
