Aronian beats Giri in FIDE Grand Prix Palma de Mallorca

Levon Aronian continues his confident performance in the final leg of FIDE Grand Prix Palma de Mallorca.

The Armenian grandmaster (playing white) recorded a comfortable win over Anish Giri in Round 4 and now sits top of the tournament table.

As of now, Aronian has 3 points and is followed by six players, who earned 2.5 points each so far. The Armenian player will face Ding Liren (China) today.
