Sinquefield Cup: Aronian defeats So and improves his positions

Sinquefield Cup in St. Louis restarted after a day off.

Levon Aronian succeeded in the 6th round of the tournament. Playing white pieces, the Armenian grandmaster gained advantage over Wesley So from U.S.

Having won 3,5 points, Aronian improved his positions. Currently he shares 2-4 places, falling behind the leader of the tournament Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France) only half a step. 

Aronian will compete with Hikaru Nakamura (USA) today.
