Aronian holds 5th place in Grand Chess Tour

The second round of Grand Chess Tour, which contained rapid and blitz games, has finished in Leuven.

Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian earned 18.5 points out of 36 possible and completed the second round on the 5th place by additional parameters.

Magnus Carlsen (Norway) won in the blitz section by earning 25.5 points.

Aronian is also the 5th in the general table of Grand Chess Tour.
