FIDE Grand Prix takes a break today

Games of the 5th round of FIDE Grand Prix took place in Sharjah yesterday.

Levon Aronian played the black and drew with Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France), the tournament leader. Armenian chess player now has 2.5 points and is one rank behind Vachier-Lagrave.

Today the tournament is off. On February 24, Aronian will play against Francisco Vallejo Pons (Spain).
