The European Boxing Championships in Kharkiv hold the quarterfinals today.
Armenia representative Hovhannes Bachkov (64kg) defeated his opponent Richard Kovacs (Hungary), thus qualifying for the final and securing a bronze medal for himself.
Another Armenian boxer Karen Tonakanyan (60kg) will have a quarterfinals fight with Gabil Mamedov (Russia) today.
