Aronian to compete in Tata Steel Chess India

Tata Steel is organizing India’s first international chess tournament in Kolkata, which will gather top chess players from all parts of the world.

The company has announced on its official website that the tournament is scheduled for November 9-14. Total of 11 top-ranked players will take part in the tournament, including Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian.

The round-robin tournament is to have Rapid and Blitz games, and the prize fund will make USD 40,000.
