Yesterday Batumi hosted the opening ceremony of Chess Olympiad 2018. The competition will finish on October 6.
The first round will be held today. Armenian men’s team will compete against Japan.
The team involves Levon Aronian, Robert Hovhannisyan, Hayk Martirosyan, Hrant Melkumyan and Gabriel Sargsyan.
The women’s team will compete against Kyrgyzstan. The participants from Armenia are Elina Danielyan, Siranush Ghukasyan, Maria Kursova, Lilit Mkrtchyan and Anna Sargsyan.
