Armenian chess team wins bronze in Youth Olympiad

World Youth U16 Chess Olympiad in Poprad, Slovakia, has finished.

Armenian team defeated Serbian team in the last round with 4:0 score and took the bronze.

Armenian chess players earned 14 points in team score, losing one point to Russian team, which took the second place. Iran won World Youth Chess Olympiad with 17 points.

The Armenia team players, headed by Artashes Minasyan, were Hayk Martirosyan, Aram Hakobyan, Shant Sargsyan, Davit Mirzoyan and Arpine Grigoryan.
