The Armenian team of Greco-Roman wrestling will hold a training camp in Yerevan on March 8-21.

On March 24-29, Walbrzych (city in Poland) will host the first European Championship for wrestlers under 23 years old. Armenian wrestlers will also compete there.

Afterwards, on April 8-23, Olympic Champion Levon Julfalakyan’s alumni will hold a two-week training camp in Yerevan and will get ready for international wrestling tournament Dan Kolov-Nikola Petrov traditionally held in Sofia. It will be held on April 24-26.

The most important event of the competition season is the World Wrestling Championships in Las Vegas due on September 7-12. It also serves as a qualifying event for the 2016 Olympic Games.

“I am always optimistic and I strive for the most. We will attempt to have Olympic qualifications in six weight categories. All depends on the competition”, said Julfalakyan.
