Yerevan /Mediamax/. Olympic Games Champion and bronze medal winner, legendary Lithuanian basketball player Sarunas Marciulionis arrived in Armenia today.

Marciulionis told Mediamax Sport correspondent in the airport it’s the first time he is in Armenia and he hopes to have a great time here.

“I was surprised to get an invitation from Armenia but I am glad for visiting this country. I know it’s a beautiful and ancient country. I hope to learn much more during my stay in Armenia”, said Marciulionis.

Marciulionis will deliver a master class for around 120 boys and girls in the basketball hall of “Grand Sport” Complex on June 4.

According to Marciulionis, it’s always interesting to share with experience. He wants young Armenian basketball players to benefit from the master class.

The screening of “The Other Dream Team” movie about the phenomenon of Lithuanian basketball will be held at Moscow Theater in the evening of June 4, after which the audience will have an opportunity to ask Sarunas Marciulionis questions.
