The final leg of FIDE Grand Prix Palma de Mallorca held the games of Round 1 yesterday.
Levon Aronian (Armenia, playing black) drew with Dmitry Jakovenko (Russia) and earned 0.5 point. Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Anish Giri and Ernesto Inarkiev have a point each.
Winner and runner-up of the Grand Prix will qualify for the Candidates Tournament. Only four players have qualified so far: Levon Aronian, Ding Liren, Sergey Karjakin, and Vladimir Kramnik.
