“People were wrong thinking that I was weak in rapid chess. My competitors will think twice before drawing with me in Tbilisi tournament and relying only on tie-break,” he said.
According to Aronian, Chess World Cup is his last chance to play in Candidates Tournament, so he will do everything to be there. “I like challenges, and this one is great.”
