Grand Prix: Aronian falls behind the leader with 1 point

Levon Aronian drew for the second time in FIDE Grand Prix, which takes place in Sharjah (UAE).

The Armenian grandmaster competed against Michael Adams (England) in Round 2. Aronian scored 1 point and currently holds the 10th position. Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France) is the leader with 2 points. 

Aronian will compete against Alexander Grischuk (Russia) today.

FIDE Grand Prix includes 4 tournaments. The first one is held in Sharjah, while the others will take place in Moscow, Geneva and Palma de Mallorca.
 
The winners of the first and second places will be qualified for FIDE World Chess Candidates Tournament.
