54 chess players participated in Armenian Rapid Chess Championship: 16 of them were grandmasters.
This year’s men’s and women’s champions Zaven Andriasyan and Maria Gevorgyan also took part.
Robert Hovhannisyan gained 7.5 points as a result of 8 tours and won the championship.
Tigran Petrosyan was the second after a severe struggle with 6.5 points. Hovhannes Gabuzyan and Arman Hayrapetyan shared the third and fourth places.
